A key objective of the UGA RCLD is to provide outreach, education, consultation, and support for program development to students, faculty, administrators, and community agencies related to postsecondary disabilities. For example, the UGA RCLD provides: Guidance for other state systems and private institutions developing policies and procedures related to postsecondary learning disorders, Consultation to disability professionals regarding eligibility and accommodation decisions, Trainings for secondary school personnel, mental health professionals, and vocational rehabilitation, and Parent and student education regarding effective transition to postsecondary education. Training, educational sessions, and consultation can be requested by contacting the UGA RCLD.
